Is There Any Relation Between Pneumonia And Guttate Psoriasis ?
my friend is 18yrs old..gender male..he has guttate psoriasis since he was 6..at age 2 he got pneumonia does it has any relations with it????? he has also had chicken pox at age 12..n frequently catch throat infections....he has white small eruptions on elbows of both hands which i have seen..apart that he has them on stomach and back..his dr., has said he will die within 6 years from now. how is this possible in psoriasis??there is no cure right now..are there any hopes of getting permanent cure in future??is reasearch going on?his medicines are garlic thyme,bee propolis,absorbent-c,arctic sea, aloe vera gel... please say he wont die..will he????????????????

Guttate psoriaisis is the most easily treated condition,but surprisingly he has been having it since long time.Sore throat is commonly associated with it.Don't get panicky ,your friend is not going to die.The only fatal complication of psoriasis is eryhtroderma,which involves whole body,that too if not treated .Take a course of antibiotic ( roxithromycin 150mg twice a day for 7 days),along with topical steroids .Anti allergic's can be given to relieve itching.If this doesn't give any relief then one can also give methotrexate tab after proper blood investigations.Use plenty of moisturizers all over the body.
