Is There Any Substitute OTC Medication For Citric Soda To Relieve Repeated UTI?

Hallo Dr i am a foreign man 57 years old current traveling in the USA. i suffer repeated UTI infections which my house Docyor treats with antibiotics. Usually he gives me Citric Soda to relieve the symptoms . Is this available over the counter here in the USA or is there an equivalent which i could use to relieve the symptoms until i get home.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
You can use sodium citrate or potassium citrate diluted in water. Cranberry juice is good and you can use barley water also. If not relieving with that antibiotic will be necessary. You can check for urine routine for signs of infection.
Let me know if you have any further query
