Is There Anything That Can Be Done For Cervical Spondylitis, Stiff Neck, Shoulder Blade Pain?

I have been diagnosed with cervical spondylitis about 15 years ago I m 72yo I ve a stiff neck for about 10 months and a pain in the right shoulder blade which is unbearable,my gp only gives me zydol,is there anything more that can be done,scans for instance.

Hi,
Now it requires to evaluate your problem.
Go for X-ray cervical region and CT scan for further development in your degenerative changes in cervical spines, inter vertebral discs or spinal canal.
After evaluation, plan of treatment can be decided.
Meanwhile go for cervical traction, physiotherapy and short way diathermy.
