Is There Chance For Pregnancy After Missed Abortion?
Hi, according my last menstrual period Iam today 9+2w. But size of gestational sac and fetalk pole is very small (somewhere around 6+3week) - GS is 26mm and fetal pole 3,3mm, no heartbeat.. Last week was GS 21mm and fetak pole 1,2mm - so it is gorving, but so slowly? is there still a chance, or..? I am 32years old, one missed ab. in august this year :(
Hello dear,,I understand your concern. In my opinion at around 6 weeks of gestational age fetal heart beat is seen.We can wait still 2 weeks ie.,8 weeks for heart beat. But as it is 9w+2 days and still heart beat is not seen means it might be a missed abortion.Iam sorry madam my aim is not to make you tense but Iam explaining you the situation.Dont worry madam there is every chance for a normal pregnancy after missed abortion.Give a gap for 3 months before planning the pregnancy. And start taking folic acid tablet once a day starting from one month before planning pregnancy. Best regards...Dr.srilatha
