Is There Major Difference Between Zolpidone 7.5mg And Zolpidem 5mg?

I have been prescribed zolpidone 7.5 mg. usually I have had zolpidem 5mg. Is there a significant difference between the two drugs? I only use them only a coup,e of times a year when we go on holiday and I have to sleep in the same room as my husband who snores so loudly the room vibrates. He also has sleep apnoea, so I look for a few hours escape with medication

Zopiclone is available 7.5 mg and 3.75 mg strength.
While zolpidem is available in 5 mg , 6.25 mg ( ER ) & 10 mg strength.
These both drugs are used for the treatment of short-term management of INSOMNIA .
The only difference is in the side effect and safety alert .
So you can use these drugs as advised by your treating doctor.
