Is Thickened Line Of Uterus Normal?

I had a emb on tue. and on fri ive had spoting and some pain in adomen and low left side ill be 52 in march im passed menopause the reason for the biopsy is because I have thickening in the lineing of uterus . is this normal or should I call dr. tomorrow .also my mother died of uterin cancer .

Hi, thanks for writing..
Endometrial thickness more than 5 mm in a postmenopausal women is considered abnormal and an endometrial biopsy is taken.. If the report is normal, nothing to worry.. If there is nay problem with the report, it has to be treated depending on the degree of lesion.. So always thickened endometrium in a postmenopausal women should be evaluated..Hope I have answered your query.. good day
