Adderall is classified as a Cat C drug with means that adverse effects can't be ruled out and should be taken if benefits outweigh the risks. It is also not recommended that it is used during breastfeeding.
Other drugs used in ADHD like atomoxetine, bupropion are also Cat C.
Seeing a therapist which use CBT (found effective in ADHD) could also be an option.
