Is Thyroid Causing Tightness And Choking In My Throat?

I am having a tightness almost choking feeling in my throat, I do have a nodule on my thyroid glad it's about 2" in diameter - discovered and biopsy done 2 years ago. Have recently had epidural spinal injections done-- last one in may. Could my thyroid be causing this problem? Had these symptoms for about 2+ weeks!

I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.

You have tightening and chocking sensation in throat with thyroid nodule. So you may have some pressure symptoms and there can be enlarged thyroid. You should go for ultrasound thyroid and fine needle aspiration cytology. It will give you exact diagnosis.

Then you should take treatment accordingly.
