Is Tingling Sensation In Wrist After A Fall Indication Of Fracture?

yesterday while ice skating I fell and landed on my wrist wrong. I really paid no mind, but today it hurt alot and it felt tingly, like the sensation when your arm falls asleep. the tingly antsy feeling hasnt gone away all day, and it hurts. Could it be broken?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to the injury if the wrist. To confirm if the wrist is broken or not it is necessary to do an xray of the wrist.

Meanwhile,I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. I also suggest using a splint to prevent further damage.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
