Is Too Much Potassium Causing Tingling Sensation In My Limbs?
I am 38 yr old male and was placed on losartan potassium (50 mg) for HBP. BP was approx 140s over 90s consistently for a few weeks. It has since lowered to 130 over 79 on last check. I am experienceing some tingling at various times that comes and hoes randomly in hands feet and legs. I have regularly eaten two bananas a day as well as almonds and Acai berries in dark chocolate. Could I be getting two much potassium? The tingling started after starting the BP medicine.

good afternoon sir I understand your problem, and yes there are medical evidences that alteration in sodium and potasium levels in blood causes twitching and cramps in muscles, especially of extrimities, however, since controlling you blood pressure is of greater importance at this stage. in my opinion you must consult your physician and explain him the symptoms you are experiencing.
