I have had dizziness and fatigue for almost 2 months. I have done every test imaginable(Ct, heart, blood tests, MRI, carotid, etc..) and everything was fine. I saw a neurologist and was diagnosed with vestibular migraines at the age of 44. My mother and brother suffer from migraines. I still do not believe these are migraines. Doc put me on topamate and i only take 25 mg a day.
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. One of the adverse effects of Topamate is fatigue, yet the dose you are taking is minimal. I think you can discuss with your doctor the possibility of treating the migraineheadaches with other medications according to the frequency and severity of headaches. If the fatigue persists after stopping Topamate, there are other conditions to be looked for like chronic fatigue syndrome. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
