Hello!

Welcome on Healthcaremagic!

Based on your friend history of headache and this therapy, I would explain that your friend may suffer from migraines.
This therapy is specific for the prevention and chronic management of migraine attacks.
The increased drowsiness could be related to Tryptomer adverse effects. For this reason, I would recommend discussing with his doctor on the possibility of stopping gradually Tryptomer and switching to Prozac or Sertraline.
Besides, I would recommend increasing the dose of Topirol up to 100mg daily if tolerated.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Best wishes, Dr. Aida
