Is Tracheitis Contagious?

Is Tracheitis contagious? My son has had a cold since the 26th of Dec. on and off fever. First he had a sore throat On Jan 3 he woke up with a bad cough. Took him Dr today he has Tracheitis and started him on Zithromax. He has had one dose at 1pm today. when is it ok for him to go back to school?

Hai... It might be contagious as its related to air breathed out. Regarding going to school its all depends on Hus well being & as a mother you are the best judge for it. Happy to help anytime. If you are happy with my reply, kindly rate it.
