Is Ulcerative Colitis Related With Red Slimy Discharge From Anus?

I have been diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis back in November. I just noticed that last night that I have a lite red slimy discharge from my anus with no stool. I was wondering if this is just from the Ulcerative Colitis or could it be something else.

intestine flora disturbances for various reasons.
