Is Uneasiness In Stomach A Side Effect Of Jointace DN?

Hi my name is jayalakshmi, 40 years old. I am a diabetic patient since 20 years nd taking everyday insulin injection two times. Recently (from 4 months back) I am getting severe pain from my right hand shoulder joint. Doctor gave me JOINTACE DN tablets. When I take this tablet I am getting uneasiness in my stomach. My personality is very leen. How many days can I use this tablets? Is it curable? Taking any other precautions?

Hello
You are an old diabetic patient and developed shoulder joint pain , your doctor prescribed jointace-DN ( glucosamine,MSM, diacereine ) .
As you mentioned that whenever you take this tablet ,you develop abdominal discomfort or uneasiness in stomach.
This combination produces hyper acidity or gastritis in few patient and you may be one of them.
So this is also important for your joint pain.Take this tablet till your doctor advised it.
Yes this can cure your joint pain if it is due to brusitis or cartilage damage or osetoarthritis .
When such abdominal distress present take pantoprazole-d on empty stomach for few days .
Also avoid greasy , fried , spicy foods .
