Is Valve Replacement Advisable For A Person With Stenosis?
we just heard my husband has a stenosis and is in need of a valve, unfortunately we did not ask which valve or artery. He has been experiencing right sided mild pain and shortness of breath for the past few weeks. Can you explain the extent of valve replacement. We do know a cardiac can can repair a stenosis
Hi. Thanks for posting on hcm. Sorry to hear about your problem. As you said about pain in the chest yes it ciuld be because of the stenosis which means narrowing of the valve or artery whatever is affected. If stenosis is very much it causes diffuculty in the blood flow through that valve or artery so if it is a valve better get the surgery done as a it is left it could progress and cause serious complications. Hope this helped you. Regards
