Is Vomiting Followed By Nausea After Drinking Vodka Normal?
I am a 16 year old male, I weigh aprox 145 pounds. On friday night I made the huge mistake of drinking way too much vodka I vomited all of it up and was able to sleep normally that night without vomiting again. I have felt slight to moderate nausea on Saturday and Sunday (today). Is this normal considering it was my first (and last) time consuming that much alcohol
Drinking too much alcohol can even lead to gastritis, which is when your stomach lining gets irritated, inflamed and erodes. Symptoms vary but include indigestion, stomach pain, nausea, upset stomach and more vomiting. Alcohol poisoning is a common cause of vomiting after drinking. you should be fine becuse the insult takes a few days to heal. So refrain from taking Alcohol , soft drinks and oily and spicy food and avoid processed food and you should be fine .If you still persist to have symptoms then you will probably need medication to reduce the inflammation of your stomach. hope this was helpful.
