Is Weight Gain, Belly And Back Hurting, Lighter Periods Related To Unprotected Sex?

Hi I am 18 years old. Me and by boyfriend have unprotected sex and I have been noticing that I have gain alot of weight in my belly area and my legs. I went from a size 3to a 7. I have also been having trouble breathing and my belly and back and under my ribs have been hurting alot. My boyfriend says it is because I don t drink alot of water. I have also notice that my periods are way lighter then usually. I have been stressing alot because I don t want to be pregnant because I am not ready to be a mom yet. Please help

I understand that you are worried whether you would have become pregnant after your recent unprotected sexual intercourse. The symptoms you have mentioned such as weight gain, discomfort in your abdomen and back, breathing difficulty or lighter periods are not definitive symptoms of pregnancy.

If you want to be sure whether you could be pregnant, I would suggest that you have a urine pregnancy test done. Regarding your multiple physical symptoms, it is advisable to see a doctor for a detailed evaluation in order to find out the cause of your sympoms.
