Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear patient
L45 disc protrusion which is only indenting the thecal sac doesn't need surgery. It leads to tingling and numbness in both feet but not in hands. So tingling and numbness in all four limbs may be due to vitamin B12 deficiency. Are you pure vegetarian? Please get your blood levels of vitamin B12 checked from reputed. If it's below normal you will require injection of ME 12 ON ALTERNATE DAYS for 3 days and then weekly for one month. Physiotherapy will help you in long term relief of back problems so you can continue it.
