Isolated Headache After Recovering From Flu

i am recovering from the flu - i dont believe i have ever had the flu, i ususally boast my natural immunity . Anyhow as I am starting to feel better i have a lingering headache only above my left ear . it started last night and comes in and out all morning. Ice helps, and wondering if it is a normal reaction of my body to getting over this sickness. Any thoughts appreciated./
