Itching Inside Penis Head, Dribbling After Urination. History Of STI Test Negative For Gonorrhea And Chlamydia. Help

Hello the inside of my penis head has been itching really bad. Now, it hurts as my penis head rubs on the inside of my pants. Now I have a problem with dribbling after urination, but no pus or white fluid, just appears to be urine. I had an STI test 11 days after unprotected sex and it came back negative for gonorrhea and chlamydia. That was 8 days ago. Should I be worried about a STI I wasn't testing for? Or could it be something else?

Hi and thank you so much for this query..

Considering this history of unprotected sex and onset of symptoms shortly after the exposure, i will suggest that you should be strongly investigated for other possible causes of STI besides gonorrhea and chlamydia like infections caused by mycoplasma and ureaplasma. The persistence and worsening of this symptoms strongly point to something abnormal going on.

If it is impossible to do these tests in your area, then maybe your doctor would consider treating you blindly for these infections and evaluate to see if there is any improvement.

Please, strongly consider using a condom always to ensure that you are protected against STI including HIV.

I hope this helps and guides you towards getting a solution to this problem. I wish you well and feel free to return to us if need be.
Thanks.

Hello,

The most likely cause may be urinary tract infection. STI's may be excluded due to negative reports.
You may need urine routine test and urine culture and sensitivity test.
Antibiotic course based on the report need to be taken.
