Jaws Make Sound During Movement Making Inconvenient To Eat Food. Can It Be Cured With Medicines?

Doctor Sir,

I am 54 and working as Branch Manager in a Bank. While I eat food, my left jaws do not move smoothly and they give some sound.. tuk tuk. I do not feel any pain, but inconvenient to chew food. Can it be cured with medicines... or does it arise due to age factor? Please advise me, Sir.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having lax muscles of TM joint giving this type of voice while chewing.
Avoid chewing hard stuff.
Put your hand on the joint while yawning.
Consult oral surgeon and get examined.
Ok and take care.
