Joint Pain, Tendinitis In Wrist. Undergone Hysterectomy, Excessive Time To Recover. Suggestions?

A family member of mine underwent hysterectomy last year in December. Since then, she has had an increase in joint pain taking place, and an especially severe instance of tendonitis in the wrist. While the other joint pains are manageable, the wrist pain is crippling.

A note about the pain; it started post injury, but is taking excessive time to recover. Could this be suggesting that the body's recovery mechanism for tissue damage, as may be in the case of tendonitis, may have been down regulated?

Hi welcome to Health care magic forum.
Thanks for asking a question to H.C.M.F.
Your family member had hysterectomy, last december. till then she had increase in joint pains, especially tendinitis of wrist.
History- pains started after injury and taking more time for recovery, whenever she gets pains.
As you describe She is getting pains when ever there is tissue damage, which usually results in prostaglandin release, so such pains must be treated with prostaglandin inhibitor group of pain killers.
Other possibility is if ovaries are also removed along with the uterus in the hysterectomy operation, due to abscence of oestrogen harmone in blood some people can get such pains.
What ever the pain is neurotropic injections taken in a gap of 3 days will help to minimise the pain. ask her to avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods when ever there are pains.
Besides all other cares i advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.
Best regards.
