Hi, Thanks for writing in. The sharp pain could be due to some kind of infection or cyst (which could become infected). I would suggest that you see a gynaecologist although this does not sound like an emergency. An infection would be likely particularly if you have some fever or some vaginal discharge ( accompanied by some odor or itching). This would need treatment with some antibiotics. Otherwise, it could be just some cramping, something a lot of women experience in the time just after a period. I dont think you need to do anything about that and it would g off on its own. I think it would be best if you see your gynaecologist. Its unlikely that we have something major on our hands. Hope this helps. Regards
