Kid Had Jaundice. Now Urine Test Normal. Yellowishness In Eyes. Normal, Continue Treatment?
Hi, Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic. The yellowness of eyes is due to deposition of bile pigments in connective tissue and it will take time to get cleared completely. Where as the bile in the urine disappears once the accumulation of bile in the liver stops and get cleared during the recovery phase. This is the reason for the absence of bile salts and bile pigments in the urine and for the presence of light yellow color of eyes. Hope I have answered your query. Regards.
