Knee And Groin Pain. Taken Flexeril And Hydrocodone. Now Knee Numbness. Normal?
A couple of weeks ago I would get a short sharp pain in my left groin area. This happened 2 or 3 different times. It would only last for a second or two, so I didnt read anything into it. Last Saturday it started hurting in that area more and into my left knee and didn't leave. By the time Sunday was here I ended up at an urgent care center due to the pain. The doctor gave me a shot for the pain, some Flexeril and Hydrocodon for the pain, and to see my MD the next day.He asked if I had fallen or hurt myself in any way and I hadn't. He gave me more Hydrocodon and added Naproxin. I am better with some pain, but better. My question is, now the side of my knee is feeling numb. Do I have anything to worry about or can it wait til Monday so I can see my MD....thanks (btw I am 59 years old and female.)

I have studied your case.
Yes you can wait till monday ,there is no emergency.
If required MRI knee can be done and if there is severe destruction of menisci then arthroscopic shaving can be done.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and tens will help, along with knee exercises.
Also check your vit B12 and vit D3 in your blood.
