Knee Hurt, Bigger On Inside And Hard, Not Strong As Before. Deformity?

My husband blew his knee out and since has seen a doctor and believes it has healed, however the knee does look the same. It is bigger on the inside and hard not swollen and the top where the knee cap is, is a little smallerdirectly underneath it. He is able to use it but it isn't as strong as it was. Any thoughts to the deformity? Thanks!

HI
Thank for choosing, HCM, Knee injury should never be taken as granted this is a very fragile joint and vulnerable to injury, I would advise you to firs,t go for a x-ray study of knee joint, if any thing comes wrong then for further evaluation MRI study would be required, for these you can discus it with orthopedic surgeon, meanwhile try some anti-inflammatory drug, Have nice Day.
