Knee Injured, Have Stitches. Swelling Increases Despite Stitches. Medication?
hi doctor My name is James and i m 42yrs old, about a month ago i met with an accident when i was riding my bike, i fell down and had 4 inch cut exactly on the knee , the wound had stiches which is removed now. now the wound is getting healed, but my whole left leg which had wound is swallon. from today morning i had a catch in my same thighs. please guide me what shall i do, do i need to consult a ortho with xray done. My medical history says i m type 2 diabetic and i do take medicine for that. please guide me thanks james

You need to consult your orthopedicain and get evaluated for same.You need to continue your diabetic medicines and check your blood sugars (requires absolute control)You may require short course of pain killers and swelling reducing medicine with calcium supplements.You need not worry
