Knee Pain. Taken Anti-inflammatory And Painkillers. Stopped Elleste. Reason?
I have been getting pain in and around my knee for the past 3 years, but thought i had twisted or injured it, went to doctors who gave me anti inflamatries and painkillers l, been to physio which didnt help either and now just got appointment through for orthopaedics. I wake up every single night crying in pain as my knee seizes up and it takes a while before i can move it and pain goes away. It doesnt matter which side i lie on and is very sore constantly through the day too. Now I have been on elleste duet since january 2010, and just came off them 2wks ago because i couldnt stand tge stomach cramps i was getting week beforeva bleed. I was wondering if the knee pain has had anything to with hrt i was taking although am still getting the pain and its not budging wotsoever?
Hi,it appears to be the arthritis, of the knee joint, may be osteoarthritis, so i advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and then when ever you feel it convinient. anti inflamatories. Thank you.
