Knots In Upper Thigh, Sore, Stomach Fills Fast While Having Food. What Could Be This?
My mother is 93 years old and sits in her home that is about 82 degrees and sleeps with her winter pajamas on and blanket on her at night and wakes up in the morning sweating. She has knots in her upper thighs and are very sore so she had a test and they said that it was muscles pinching her fatty tissue. She was drinking about 24 ounces of fluids a day not all water. She does not eat much food she says her stomach fills up and she has gotten real weak she has a hard time sitting up. We have a MRI set up for tomorrow for the knots in her thighs, We have her drinking 2 bottles of ensure a day can I get something to make her eat and drink more is this problem dehydration?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The knot like feeling in the thigh is likely to be due to muscle spasm. You are also probably having some indigestion. Taking care of the food that you are taking and digestive enzymes will help. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
