Knuckle Swollen And Red, Bend Painful Due To Not Stitching A Deep Cut On Index Finger

3.5 months ago deep cut on tip of index finger. Regret missing window for stitches as it took long time for laceration to close.First knuckle is still swollen, painful to bend, slight redness on skin covering joint. Tip of finger nerves jangled, sensitive.
