Lack Of Appetite, Constipation, Bulky Soft Stools, Watery Mucus Before Stools After Taking Motilium And Protium For Swelling In The Throat. Side Effects?
Sir i had some kind of swelling in my throat for past few days, i have been told by the doctor to take motilium and protium, but after few days don't know that is it the reaction of these medicines i have been experiencing some stomach problem which is that i don't feel hungry, constipation, but when i pass some stool i don't get satisfied after getting out of toilet, and have bulky soft stool which is not normal, and sometimes pass watery mucus from anus before passing stool and sometimes after. Plz help me.

Stomach problem (cramps), feel hungry, constipation, watery mucus stool or diarrhoea may occur as side effects of motilium ( a preparation of Domperidone) , not with protium ( a preparation of Pantoprazole). But very confusing thing is that you are taking both for a swelling in throat( Is it Tonsillitis ?) for which those are not the proper medications. You need Antibiotic if Tonsillitis or a swelling due to infections. You can stop motilium to get rid of side effects. For treating that swelling you need to consult an ENT Surgeon.
