Laproscopic Assisted Hysetectomy Done, Lower Back Pain. No Blood Clot Or Infection. Problem?

I had a laporoscopic assisted hysterectoy on Monday July 8/13. The ovaries remain. The uterus had one fibroid, endometriosis at the front of the uterus, both inside and outside the uterus wall. The uterus had adhesions, but I dont know what it was adhered to. the one fibroid was completely embedded in adhesions. Each ovary had one cyst removed.

Since surgery, i have had extreme lower back pain. If I stay still laying down or walk, the pain reduces. However when I stand still, the pain become excrutiating across my lower back. Yesterday morning, there was an addition of numbness inmy left leg. It was not pain and i could bear all my weight. The dr ruled out leg blood clot, abdominal bleeding post op. A urine test = no infection. Hemoglobin was 114. I am 48 years old, 5'8" & 175 pounds. He gave me Toradol IM and a precription for oral toradol every 6 hours - which help with overall pain, but theain when standing still remains the same.

I have never had back pain prior to surgery.

Question. What is this caused from and would physio therapy help?

Any other comments would be appreciated
Thankyou

Hi, it appears to be due to the adhesions post operatively, or pelvic infection, or new cysts in the overies. Or it may be the orthopedic pain due to the lumbar spondylosis.
I to my patient with such pain prescribe neurotropic injections, for 5 consecutive days. ofloxacin, and antiinflamatory for temporary pain relief. Thank you.
