Large, Uncomfortable Knot Above The Buttcrack, Pressured Feeling. History Of Exercising Involving Deep Stretching. Any Ideas?

I have a large knot directly above and to the left of the top of my buttcrack. I have recently started a new exercise class that involves a lot of work focused on the strengthening of the buttocks, legs, and entire body, followed by deep stretching. It is not really "painful", I just feel a lot of pressure when stretching, or when manual pressure is applied to it. Trying to figure out if this is just muscular? It's not keeping me from "normal" activities, it just feels weird.
To be clear, it's only on 1 side, and visually, you can see the knot directly to the left, and maybe an inch above the top of my butt crack. Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

The knot might be due to recent onset of gluteal muscles strengthening exercises. I suggest you consult an orthopedician and get yourself examined to make sure it is not anything significant to be treated.

As such as there is no pain ans swelling, there is no need to worry about it.

Hope this helps
