Left Eye Red, Bottom Swollen, Small Lump Under Eyelashes. Sty?

A few days ago my left eye hurt and was red, I thought it would go away..then I noticed that the bottom of my eye started to look slightly swollen. Now I have bruising and the swelling is worse, all at the bottom of my eye and there is now there is a small lump about 1/8 of an inch under my eyelash line. You can t see it but I can feel it. Could this be a sty?

Hello,

Yes, painful lumps on the eyelids are most likely to be due to a stye. Try giving warm compresses, for 10 minutes, thrice a day for 4-5 days. You can take an analgesic to get relief from pain.
