Left Foot Pain, Iced It. On Ibuprofen And Paracetamol. Done X Ray. Suggest?

Hi. My daughter is 6 years old and Sunday night she felt on her left foot.She cried immediately with pain. I put ice on her, immediately several times. Sunday morning took her to the hospital and on the x ray everything was fine. the doctor told me she would be fine in 2 days with ibuprofen and paracetamol. she has been at home since then. today is Thursday and she still in pain. every time she puts the foot on the floor she says it hurts.. Not sure what to do. she is not ok to go to school.i it possible the x ray didn't show a fracture? Thanks in advance for your answer.

Hello
Thanks for posting your query.
From description it seems she might developed soft tissue injury or bone bruise. Some time it is possible to miss out hairline fracture might be due to poor xray quality or not related with clinical findings.
I suggest not to put weight for another 4-5 days, elevate the limb. If it persists even after that , get it evaluated by orthopaedician.
