Left Hand Paralyzed, Burning Pain, Hardness In Vein. Acupuncture Done. Advise?
I had acupuncture done last week and the doctor has connected tense unit to some of the needles. After about 3 minutes my left hand was paralized with burning pain and hardness in the vein on the top of my hand. I was trying to massage and ice on it but nothing work, burning pain and hardness in the vein is still there.
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The sudden paralysis of a hand with numbness is likely to be due to a nerve related injury caused by the stimulating needles. A nerve conduction study will help in exact diagnosis. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
