Left Knee Pop, Numb Feeling In Lower Leg, Difficulty In Bending Knee, Lump Outside Knee. Any Ideas?

My left knee pops when I walk and when it pops it s painful. I do not feel pain in the morning but by the end of the day it hurts and my lower leg almost feels numb. I cannot easily bend my knee very far, when I can bend my knee it is not for very long. I noticed last night that when I was sitting on the couch that there was a lump on the outside of my knee, not a hard lump, that is only there when my knee is bent. I do not remember injuring it or twisting it wrong at all. This has been going on now for almost three weeks. Thoughts?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The popping in the knee on walking is suggestive of osteoarthritic changes and a reduction in knee lubricants. The lump outside the knee needs a direct examination for diagnosis.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
