Left Side Outer Ear Pain, Extends To Throat, Recurring For Years. Taking Gabapentin, Feeling Sleepy. Advice?
I have had leftside outer ear extreme pain that leads from my outer ear, to down the left side of my throat. I have had MRI, nothing, EMT's, nothing. The pain occurs everyday, It usually starts around 3;00pm, but the last week, it starts at 5:00 pm. I have had this for many years, but the last two years, it is getting worse. What, where, when can I find someone that can help relieve the pain. Went to one doctor, he gave me gabapentin, helps some, but don't like to take it, makes me sleep. Can you help?

Thank choosing HCM, It seems Trigeminal neuralgia,, you need to make it sure by proper clinical examination,, you can try amitriptyline just one tab. a day and see if get relief,,have nice day
