Hello,
thanks for using health care magic

What you have is abnormal bleeding which is a serious
issue for a woman who is sexually active. The first thing
to rule out is a pregnancy related cause which could be
a threatened abortion or a miscarriage or others.
Firstly, get a urine pregnancy test to confirm if there is
a pregnancy related cause. If the test is positive, you
should immediately without delay contact a gynecologist
and do an ultrasound as well. However, if the test is negative,
it could be due to a dysfunctional bleeding and you should still
meet your gynecologist but not extreme urgency unless bleeding
is abundant.

Hope this helps you. If you have more query, i will be waiting to help.
Best regards

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
If you had unprotected intercourse around the time of ovulation then there is possibility of pregnancy and miscarriage.
So you once consult gynecologist and go for ultrasound to find out the possible cause for your problem.
If retained products are found in the uterus you may need D&C.
If there are no signs of pregnancy and if there is any hormonal imbalance you need treatment for it.
For more details you can ask me through: http://www.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-sree-gouri-sr/63429
Take care.
