Light Headed, Nausea After Taking Amitiza Tablet. Can I Take Tablet At Bedtime After Having Food?
I take Amitiza 24mcg twice a day, but I feel light headed and nauseous for about 2 hours or more after taking it. I get around it by taking the second dose at bedtime and now I am wondering if I can just take both of them at bedtime, when I have food in my stomach, and sleep through the nausea and light headedness? Oh I didn't see there is a sign up commitment and I just have the one question which can wait until Monday when I call my PCP, but thank you for providing such a service. Regards, Valerie
The drug that you are taking needs to be taken twice a day. It is known to cause nausea and vomiting. If nausea is troublesome then you need to contact your doctor who shall suggest some other alternative.
I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.
Wishing you all the best.
