Light Headedness After 3 Months Of Child Birth. Taking Medication For Thyroid. Suggestions?

Hello Doctor, I had my second child in Apr 2004 I.e. 9 years ago. Three months after the child birth, I started getting light headedness. I consulted my gp, neuro specialist, but no relief or any finding. I was advised that I have thyroid and taking medication ever since. I get light headedness for few days or a week or two, then normal for few days, will be again.

Your thoughts will be very much appreciated.

Regards,
Mirna

Hi,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic,
After going through your history you have thyroid issue and taking treatment for it, it is very long duration of 9 years having lightheadedness there is nothing serious is there as you have consulted Physician.
You should check thyroid function along with complete blood count as in thyroid disorder anemia can develop.
Please consult Physician and get yourself examined and investigated if there is anything detected it can be treated also for thyroid issue periodic check up is required to adjust the dose of medicine.
Hope this helps.
Wish you good health.
Take care.
Good Luck.
Dr.Akhilesh Dubey M.D.
