Little Pain As If IUD Resting On Bladder, Mild Pain On Side Like Burning Pain Inside, Burning While Urination. Concerning?
hi,i have copper iud 5 and a half yrs ago.about 1 year ago I had a UTI.the IUD was in place.i am experiencing a little pain like if its resting on bladder.when I am walking feels like if something is resting on bladder.at night feels a little pain on the side like a burning pain inside.a little burning when urinating.don't know if to see a doctor or not.thanks

If the IUD has been there for a long time, it might be a bit difficult to associate these symptoms to the IUD. However, it is possible that such complications due to the device could occur, but under such circumstances, less likely.
It is logical to exclude a urinary tract infection first. A urine analysis, culture and sensitivity tests, with institutions of broad spectrum antibiotherapy after sample removal could be useful.,IT might be necessary to start drinkingf lots of water now. Doing an abdominal ultrasound to ascertain the inetgrity of the uterus, ovaries and bladder, kidneys and urinary collecting system as a whole is important.
