Little White Bumps With Tingling Sensation On Lips. History Of Anal Herpes. Thoughts?
Hi, ok so I do have anal herpes and about two months ago these little white bumps have started appearing on my lips. You can't see them until I kind of spread my lips. They haven't formed into what I would think a herpes out break should look like. People tell me they can't see them until I point them out. I can feel them with my tounge and not sure if because paranoid they tingle a little or if it's in my head. I figured because I've been stressing out about them they would have broken out into herpes sores, but haven't and it's been two months and they never go away, actually seems like there getting more spread. In some spots it's just one other spots its a group. I'm just really freaking out and if not herpes don't know what it could be. I have a dermatologist app but can't see me right away. Please your thoughts
Hi, Thanks for writing in. The condition can be fordyce spots. They do not sound like herpes. Fordyce spots are tiny white spots around lips which do not cause symptoms but do not go away for long time. They are a benign change and nothing to be worried about. A visit to dermatologist will allow proper diagnosis and treatment. Hope this helps. Regards Dr Sudarshan MD Dermatology
