Long Periods, Bulky Uterus. Suggested To Take Lotte For 3 Months. Is It Advisable? Any Side Effects?

MY PERIODS ARE VERY LONG AND GOES FOR 15 DAYS FROM PAST SIX MONTHS, SO MY DOCTOR SUGGESTED TO TAKE LOTTEE FOR 3 MONTHS IS IT ADVISABLE? SHOULD I START TAKING THE TABLETS?
IS IT A CONTRACEPTIVE PILL?
I HAVE 2 CHILDREN AND UNDERWENT CAESARIAN ALSO
IS THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
15 days menses / month fro last 6 months.
Lottee 's ingredients are levonorgetrel +ethinylestradiol, and prescribed for 3 months.
Yes this is a oral contraceptive.
As a natural contraceptive this also have few side effects , but as your doctor recommended it for three months.
Please take the drug for full course and than consult your treating doctor for further treatment .
Bulky uterus may be the reason of long period .
Your consultant will decide future course of action about disease.
