Loose Motion. Stool Report Showed Pus Cells, Macrophages, Green Stool. On Cefixime And Enterogermina. What Is Going On?

hello Doctor,
My kid is 3.5 month old. He is suffer from Loose motion since last 15 days. Pediatrician given Cefixime antibiotics and enterogermina. His stool reports R as below,
Color: Yellow Green
Mucus present, blood absent, consistency: Semisolid, parasites: absent, trace reducing sugar present, few R.B.C present, Many pus cells presents, Macrophages present and scanty beg matter present.
As of today he consumed 90 ml cefixime sup in 9 days but still loose motion continues with green color.
The frequency is 4-5 times in a day.
Baby is active.
Pls help and guide if any test / investigation need to be done and if any specific treatment required?

Hi! It seems your baby is suffering from Viral Diarrhoea and it is self limiting. Till your child is active and is well hydrated I do not think you should push the panic button. Have patience , and if he has any fever and child gets dull then you should see a Paediatrician. Take care.
