Losing Weight By Dieting. Heart Is Palpitating And Having Breathing Difficulty. Have I Become Hypoglycemic From Dieting?
I want to lose weight. I stopped eating as much food as I would normally. I make smoothies out of mixed berries, protein powder, and spinach. I have lost ten pounds in two weeks. I eat dinner about 5 times a week and its balanced. However, I am very weak, sweating, shaking, and I stand outside at 49 degrees and I still sweat. i'm worried because I have Mitral Valve Prolapse and Mitral Valve Regurgitation. My heart is palpitating a lot more and I feel like I can't breathe. I am also currently in the process of having a genetic test completed because I possibly have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I have been immune system sick since I was 9 years old. I am now 39. Am I hypoglycemic from dieting?
- eat your meals regularly, do not skip any - eat often and small portions and slowly, do not rush - do not lay down immediately after eating. - do exercise as you are allowed by your cardiologist (as you are saying to be suffering of Mitral valve prolapse and regurgitation). - when you have heart palpitations, measure your blood sugar and blood pressure. If blood sugar is low ( I also advise to consult your cardiologist before following such diet and to set which diet is most appropriate for your case! All the best! Dr.Alba
