Loss Of Feeling (Numb) After Fracture, Is This Normal And Will It Recover ?

I suffered an open fracture on tibia 3 months ago. I had surgery to insert a plate. Since the accident until this day I have no feeling in the shin area around the plate, feeling in the foot is normal however. Is this normal and will it recover?

Hi.. Occasionally the area of the scar can have less sensation due to the injuries sustained to the  nerves.. So if there is a scar at that region, then it could explain the loss of sensation... Localised loss of sensation over one particular region with no other symptoms  are not of major concern...
