Based on the description, the patient has suffered from brain stroke. In addition, he has been having recurrent mini-strokes (transient ischemic attacks-TIAs).
Risk factors for stroke in him are high BP, high sugars, and
heart disease.
There is no evidence of brain infection as his CSF examination is normal.
Current treatment would consist of blood thinners (such as
aspirin or
warfarin, etc), statins, control of BP and sugars, and
physiotherapy.
