My 81 year old mother had the flu and right after feeling better experienced meemory problems. She went from playing Yahtzee to not even being able to add up her numbers. It s been a week and it s like she has no pleasure center she doesn t initiate conversation only one word answers. We took her to emergency they ran some tests but they were ok. We can t figure it out she has no expression.lauu

This will affect the cognition severely and it will make her deteriorate mentally - which she is at present experiencing as memory problems, etc. 3. It is completely reversible. It would take around 1-2 months. During this time, family support with good care taker round the clock to help her would help her recover faster.
